Si aun no terminabas de acostumbrarte al Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) pues no le vayas tomando mucho cariño porque este día lunes 30 de abril en Las Vegas se hace la presentación de lo que traducido libremente seria “un vistazo al futuro IE” (First Look at the Future of IE), que no es otra cosa que una intervención del equipo de Microsoft en MIX07 y donde según dicen:

Hear what Microsoft’s browser investments mean to you, and make sure you get a voice in shaping the next version of Internet Explorer. Hear about what features and layout issues are being worked on, and let us know what causes you the most problems.

Y como es sabido que este tipo de proyectos no son de un año para otro, pues seguramente lo ofrecido de ver un IE8 a finales del 2008 sera más lejano aún, sin embargo ya sabemos que los dolores de cabeza no terminan con IE7.

Hace algunos días se recordo el día internacional del diseño, de hecho en muchos aspectos creo que paso desapercibido para el común de la gente, y más aún tomando en cuenta que unos días antes fue el día internacional de la secretaria, entonces claro el diseñador quedo relegado a un segundo plano.

Pero bueno, este día mientras veía mis feeds encontré este gráfico que fue traducido por microsiervos hace ya un tiempo en el que se hace referencia a una imagen original de Alan Foreman llamada Time Breakdown of Modern Web Design.

Totalmente identificado con el tema, en verdad.

Tras una larga espera en la escritura de este blog, hoy día domingo 29 de abril terminé de actualizar, optimizar y revisar la nueva imagen gráfica de Saturn Attacks. Este nuevo template de wordpress ha sido llamado Blogging Pro en Castellano y fue traducido por los hermanos Carrero.

En lo personal me gusta este template por el uso de tres columnas, debido a que así se puede dar mayor importancia al contenido y dejando en las dos columnas siguientes el resto de información y enlaces en general.

Respecto de los colores, casi no hice cambios del template original, puesto que se acopla de forma natural el azul al naranja clásico de Saturn Attacks, lo que ayudo mucho el momento de la implementación.

Además, desde ahora Saturn Attacks cuenta con el servicio de Feed Burner, para la publicación RSS, de hecho decidí utilizar esta aplicación debido a que permite muchas opciones tanto a nivel técnico como estadístico para el manejo de RSS, así que sugiero a los lectores de este blog que lo hacían via RSS actualicen sus enlaces al nuevo Feed Burner.

Well, as a designer so many times I think in CMYK like: Cyan Magenta Yellow and blacK, but reading the right explanation on “bloGrafico” I can understand the mean of the K letter in CMYK, in fact it comes from the plates used for printing, one of them is called Cyan plate, the second is Magenta plate, the third is Yellow plate, and the final one was called KEY plate, just because this one have more content of the image than the others plates.

Few weeks ago I was reading this post about a new technology where Apple shows a new way to charge devices via induction, in fact the proposal of this new patent is charge and data transfer via wireless to the iPhone, or some other device, all the respective information about that patent you can find here.

But today I was reading in Slashdot ” Wireless Power Now A Reality“, this is a report from CNN about an startup called Powercast working in the same way than Apple, so the pieces was joined by themselves and I think than Apple takes seriously the option of charge their devices trough wireless way, the basement of this new technology is the same as the bluetooth, so thats the reason why at this time the maximum distance to charge any device in a wireless way is just 3ft, but in meantime this could be change.
